View Your Webcast
Private online viewing for family and friends unable to attend in person
Watching the service online
Not everyone is able to attend a funeral service in person. At Baldarroch Crematorium, a private webcast can be arranged so that family and friends who are unable to travel can still be part of the service.
The service is filmed through the crematorium’s audio and visual system, using a fixed camera within the chapel. This allows those watching remotely to follow the ceremony respectfully and discreetly.
The webcast link is sent privately to the applicant via the funeral director. The applicant can then forward the link to the family members and friends they wish to invite to view the service.
Private access and recordings
Baldarroch does not provide public streams. Webcasts are private and are only available to the people who have been given the secure viewing details by the applicant or funeral director.
The webcast can usually be watched live at the time of the service, and may also be available as a recording afterwards. Recordings can also be supplied on a USB drive where this has been arranged.
If you have been given a webcast link, please make sure you have the correct login details before the service begins. If you are arranging a funeral and would like a webcast included, your funeral director can advise on the options available.
Need help with a webcast?
